Young journalists, videographers and photographers aged between 18 and 27 are invited to participate in the ‘Europe Is More Than You Think’ Award 2009;  THE journalistic competition for young journalists from all over Europe. They will compete in the following categories: written journalism, podcast journalism, videography and photography. The challenge to the young media specialists is to look beyond the headlines which dominate the common understanding of Europe and show what Europe really stands for and what it means to be European nowadays. The first prize winners will win a 4 day trip to Strasbourg to attend and report on the Parliamentary Assembly for the Council of Europe on 26-30^th January.
