The Netherlands Youth Institute and Foundation JONG Rotterdam will organize the European Expert Meeting for Youth Workers ‘Empowering Youth Work: Placing Youth Work in Europe as an Evidence-based Practice’. The meeting will take place on 17 -19 March 2010 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The focus of the expert meeting should be to provide knowledge, tools and assets for youth workers to further strengthen their position at local, national and European level and to identify the unique selling points for youth work all over Europe. Around 50 experienced youth workers are invited to participate in the meeting to share best or bad practices and find common grounds about proven effectiveness of those practices.
