Call for participants in the project ‘Generation 89′
Were you born in 1989? Then read thoroughly the information below about the project Generation 89, because citizens of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania and the UK, born in 1989, are invited to participate in the project Generation 1989. The project proposes to view the fall of the communist systems in Europe through the perspective of young people born in 1989. The main objective of this project is to bring these young people together to share experiences and expectations for the future. The selected candidates will be invited to attend simultaneous two-days meetings in Brussels, Bucharest, Prague and Warsaw in order to develop a common declaration. The Declaration ‘Generation 89′ represents a voice of young European citizens speaking about their future and the future of the European Union. A delegation of the participants will present the declaration to EU representatives in Brussels on 7 June 2010.

To convince the jury that you have the suitable skills and attitude to participate in the project, you should submit an essay on the theme “What can I do for Europe and what can Europe do for me?
