EVS vacancy in Georgia
Currently Student Youth Council plans to apply for the 1st February deadline with the EVS hosting project concerning the EuroClubs. The project will take place in the city of Ozurgeti and will last 6 months. The placement where the volunteer will to develop her/his EVS is Guria region, in the western part of Georgia. The project aims at assistance of volunteer introducing the different possibilities from Europe that are provided by the youngsters;promoting youth programs; spreading the information about YiA and EVS in general; development of cooperation on European level at the place, where the volunteer will be accommodated and where she/he will undertake to participate voluntarily in an active citizenship and an informal inter-cultural education experience.
The most important activity will be the promotion of the project itself, promotion of the Youth in Action Programme in general and further promotion of voluntary work in local society, what makes the step to Europe and European integration. The main focus of the project will be the volunteer`’s active involvement in local youth work activities, that range from daily Euroclubs` work, regular cultural events to one-event-activities providing young people with specific knowledge about cultural heritage, history, values, languages and other skills, expand their European awareness and develop the cooperation between the young people with different backgrounds.

EVS vacancies in Spain
Assocation Juvenil Intercambia is looking for EVS candidates. Volunteers will participate in different activities:
- Youth information and raising-awareness campaigns about Europe and campaigns of promotion of volunteering.
- Promotion of intercultural participation and learning. (We manage an information desk in Malaga, Volunteers may help
- Giving information and counselling at an information desk in Malaga in which local youth are informed about European mobility programmes.
- Organise seminars and information sessions related with Europe and European Citizenship or YiA actions.
The organisation can offer volunteers different learning elements: such as how youth organisation works in Spain, different working methodologies with youth,.development of social and cultural skills and the Spanish language. Another learning element is related with the search and diffusion of youth information and with the use of new technologies, as the organisations work with web platforms, graphic supports, videos.

Urgunt call for participants: a bicycle and PR based lobby for Fair Trade
The Fair-Trade Tour shall be a bicycle and media based lobby campaign for Fair Trade (FT). In Latin America there will be one team cycling around visiting existing cooperatives and giving workshops on FT to conventional farmers. On the other hand the demand of buying FT products in Europe shall be raised at the same time: through project participants that stay at home in their EU-country supporting the ‘mother tour’ in Latin America through press work (PR). The project itself plus preparation will take at least 8 months. In early 2011 there will be a first 3-day brainstorming/networking/preparing meeting in Germany according the Youth in Action program.

NGO ‘Dynamism, Youth, Diversity’ is looking for EVS volunteers in Moldova. The placements they have at the moment allow to host 9 volunteers in different organizations: Association for Charity and Social Assistance ACASA, Foundation Angelus Moldova, Youth Friendly Health Center Neovita, Friends of Children or the Public Association ‘Eco-Razeni’. EVS in Azerbaijan. Why not?
Association of Young Azerbaijani Friends of Europe (AYAFE) is looking for 2 EVS volunteers for a long-term project in Azerbaijan. The aim of the project is to work against social exclusion of children and adolescents in IDP (Internally Displaced People) communities. The main task of the volunteers will be to organise various social and cultural activities for children and young people with IDP. During the summer, the volunteers will also be involved in the organisation and coordination of the International Youth Camp in cooperation with AYAFE. Are you interested?
