ADVIT stays for Association for Development, Voluntary Service and Information for Youth. ADVIT Moldova aims to promote cultural understanding and youth empowerment through opportunities of international exchange and voluntary work. As the recognized charity working in the area of youth development; ADVIT Moldova sends and receives young people, who want to broaden their horizons, develop themselves, make a difference, live and work with communities in Moldova and throughout the world up to 12 months. Through volunteering with ADVIT in Moldova, participants gain valuable work experience, learn a new language and develop important vocational, interpersonal and cultural skills, while in turn offering their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for the benefit of the projects that host them.
ADVIT Moldova offers a unique, ethical volunteering experience. They know every one of their volunteers personally which means that they provide excellent support. IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Roots & Routes
Roots & Routes is an international network for the promotion of cultural and social diversity in contemporary performing arts and media. An increasing number of initiatives empower urban youths by helping and coaching them to use their singing, dancing and media skills as an economic weapon and a tool for social integration and citizenship. At the European level a number of these initiatives are united in the Roots & Routes International network. Roots & Routes organises courses, master classes, performances and events, exchanges and mobility programmes for young dance, music and media talents in more than 10 European countries. IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Youth association creACTive
creACTive: the world of creative and active young people
creACTive is a youth association from Macedonia for support of creativity and active citizenship of young people. Formed in 2007, creACTive has a main aim to assist the personal development of young people by providing them with a variety of non-formal education activities. creACTive currently has one Youth Centre in Kavadarci and two Youth Clubs – one in Skopje and another one in the village of Drenovo.
‘It was a big experience for me to work in creACTive. During the work I improved my language skills (English, Macedonian), I learnt how to organize events involving many people. AEGEE-Baki, European Students Forum Baku Public Union is a non-political, secular and non-commercial youth organization from Azerbaijan. The goal of AEGEE Baki is to promote, support and broaden up the international cooperation, democracy, human rights, tolerance, European integration and European standards on education. Considering Azerbaijan as a part of Europe, AEGEE-Baki is encouraging relations, cooperation and integration between young people of Azerbaijan and Europe. AEGEE is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe; it is represented by 15.000 students, active in 241 academic cities, in 40 countries all around Europe, which presents an amazing culture variety. Full House: youth filmmaking and exchange project
Full House is a youth filmmaking and international exchange project which has involved 45 young people from Hannover (Germany), Poznan (Poland) and Bristol (GB). The participants worked alongside professional filmmakers to create a film on the theme migration. The film tells about four youngsters who come together in a fictional hostel in Hannover, each tell their different story. The international premiere took place on 26 October in Poznan during the last filmmaking workshop. All participants of the project, funded by the Youth in Action Programme, were presented with a Youthpass certificate from the European Commission. Watch the movie trailer on the Full House website!

Premiere documentary ‘Heart, keep beating’
On October 2nd the official premiere of the documentary film ‘Heart, keep beating’ took place in Copenhagen. The moving documentary is developed as a Youth Initiative project within the Youth in Action Programme and is a collaboration between young people from Denmark, Romania and Portugal.
‘Heart, keep beating’ tells about the lives of Claudia and Alex, two young Romanians who are HIV infected since childhood. In the film they tell about their dream of having a family and a completely normal life. The purpose of the project is to fight discrimination and stigmatization of HIV infected youth.
