New manual for facilitators in non-formal education
This manual provides essential information and practical tips for facilitators in non-formal education and intercultural activities. The publication is part of the endeavor of the Council of Europe’s youth sector that struggles for the recognition of non-formal education and keeps supporting and developing the quality of the activities across Europe. The participants in the education and training activities are multipliers who are involved in training other young people and/or in designing activities and programmes that put into practice the values, standards and objectives of the Council of Europe’s youth policy This manual was developed in order to support them in that role. The use of non-formal learning principles is combined with experiential learning approaches to make the learning experiences meaningful and relevant. Are you interested in this publication? Lifelong Learning Infodays 2010
The new Life Long Learning Programme 2010, an initiative of the European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), supports learning opportunities from
childhood to old age in every single life situation. If you want more information about the learning programme, it is possible to visit a Lifelong Learning Infoday on two locations: In Helsinki, the event takes place on November 23 in the Finlandia Hall and on December 7 you are welcome in the Charlemagne building in Brussels. The Infodays give you the opportunity to meet and talk to the team in charge of the programme, interact with other stakeholders and receive practical advise from successful applicants.
