Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship 2010
The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship 2010 aims to encourage and promote women to outshine in computing and technology and become active role models and leaders. Applicants should be female students (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics or a closely related study) entering their final year of a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s or PhD programme in 2010/11. Apply for a travel scholarship
Every year the Heinz-Schwarzkopf Foundation finances 20 to 30 travel fellowships (€550,-) for young people. The journey has to be planned and needs to last a minimum of three and a maximum of six weeks and needs to have a specifically defined research topic regarding a current cultural or political development in the context of European integration. Not later than three months after the trip there should be written a final detailed report explaining the research topic, the concrete findings and a reflection on the experiences and impressions during the trip. Danceweb Europe scholarship 2010 in Vienna
The DanceWEB Europe Scholarship is a five week summer training programme taking place every year in Vienna within the frame of ImPulsTranz festival. DanceWEB offers around 50 young professional dancers and choreographers from Europe the opportunity to take part in an intense multinational training programme focused on the exchange of ideas and knowledge, not limited by national borders. The programme is supervised each year by an artistic coach who recently played a vital part in the development of contemporary dance on an international level.
Are you a talented dancer or choreographer aged between 22 and 28 years and do you have professional dance ambitions?
