Asia-Europe Training Course on Environmental Human Rights

Interested persons are now welcomed to apply to become a participant of the Asia-Europe training course on Environmental Human Rights. The 5-day programme will take place from 9- 15 November 2010 in Seoul. The training will gather 30 youth workers from Asia and Europe and will combine plenary sessions, working groups, debates and study sessions. On of the central themes will be: the connections between and the contemporary situation of Environment and Human Rights. Unique Training course for EVS mentors

The Training Course: “Facilitating the volunteers learning” aims at development of EVS mentors’ competences to support and facilitate learning processes of EVS volunteers with special focus on Learning to Learn competence. EYE opener: training course on empowerment in youth exchanges

EYE opener is a training course for newcomers to develop Youth Exchanges within the contest of Youth in Action and to stimulate the full participation of young people in the entire exchange. The training is based on simulation games, inputs and group work. Participation in learning couples of youtworkers and young people. The training course will take place from 6 to 11 September 2010 in De Glind, The Netherlands. Are you interested? Last month SALTO-YOUTH network celebrates its 10th anniversary

SALTO is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2010 and you are invited! Participate in any of their 2010 events and get a piece of SALTO birthday cake. You can for example participate in the Youth in Action Network training courses or other thematic activities.

About SALTO-YOUTH:
The SALTO (Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities) is a network of 8 Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. It provides youth work and training resources and organises training and contact-making activities to support organisations and National Agencies within the frame of the European Commission’s Youth in Action programme and beyond. SALTO-YOUTH’s history started in 2000 and is part of the European Commission’s Training Strategy within the Youth in Action programme and works in synergy and complimentarity with other partners in the field.

Training Course: ” Young people in divided communities”

This training course, organised by Youth Associaton creACTive, will take place from 7 to 14 September 2010 in Struga, Macedonia. The main aim of the course will be exploring issues and strategies for young people and youth organisations working in divided communities. Application deadline: 10 July 2010. Nowadays there are a big number of societies around Europe that are strongly divided/segregated on the basis of people’s different backgrounds. Youth organizations and youth workers from such countries meet great challenges in addressing the issues arising from these conditions, and in establishing relations and trust between young people. This project will gather together youth and social workers who face these issues in their countries or who are interested in developing knowledge about this subject. The learning process is intended to develop both skills and knowledge for developmental work in this field.

Call for applicants: Training on new media ‘Virtually Active’

FEJS Macedonia organizes “Virtually Active” – a training program on using new-media-content to establish online-active-citizenship. The training will take place from 18 – 23 July 2010 in Macedonia. The primary aim is to educate young people and school graduates from CEE countries regarding today’s new media opportunities. The program’s goal is to present ideas and initiatives about how, with the use of new media and created media content, the youth employ-ability can improve and increase. Training course: Intercultural Dialogue in Youth Work

This training course is aimed to improve young people’s knowledge of Turkish culture, to promote the development of youth networks and to cooperate in the creation of joint project. WYSE International Leadership Programme in Italy

WYSE International is for people who care about what’s happening in the world and are willing to do what they can to make a positive difference. The WYSE International Leadership Programme take the form of a 12 day intensive training, where participants from many different cultures, religions and socio-economic backgrounds come together to form an international learning community. Risk Awareness training course in Bulgaria

The aims of this training course are to introduce trainers to adaptable tools related to risk awareness for usage in the training of youth workers and to achieve awareness, raising the quality of the experience for young people in international youth exchanges. Creativity & Innovation in YIA Training course

This training course aims to promote creative thinking within the Youth in Action programmes and to increase the quality of international youth projects by diversifying the range of solutions for common project challenges and multiply innovative practices at local level. The training will support youth workers and youth leaders to think in innovative ways of approaching youth related topics and develop creative solutions to increase the impact and efficiency of youth activities.
