Get in Net Training for Transnational Youth initiatives
Get in Net Training Course aims to improve international co-operation and to increase the quality of Transnational Youth Initiatives within the framework of the Youth in Action programme.The course will be based on the principles and practice of non-formal education taking into account your needs, motivations and previous experiences as starting point of the programme. A diversity of working methods will be used for learning about Transnational Youth Initiatives management, such as thinking together, brainstorming, creating new ideas, discussions and simulations. The training course will take place on 4 -9 May 2010 in Porto, Portugal and is open to young people between the age of 18 and 30 years old, belonging to an Youth organization or a group. Apply online before the deadline of 19 March 2010.
New version of the Youth in Action Programme Guide
The current version of the Youth in Action Programme Guide is replaced by a new version which will be valid as of 1 January 2010. The Programme Guide is a tool for anybody who would like to participate in the Youth in Action Programme. It includes the necessary information about the priorities, actions and main features of the Programme as well as the criteria and conditions on how to participate.
Annual priorities of the Youth in Action Programme 2010
Annual priorities of the Youth in Action Programme are aimed at better defining the context of implementation of the Programme by clarifying the scope of the permanent priorities (promoting young people’s European citizenship, active participation in democratic life, cultural diversity and the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities) and by better anchoring the Programme to topical issues at European level. In 2010 priority will be given to project proposals taking into account one or more of the following priorities:
- European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion
- Youth unemployment and promotion of young unemployed people’s active participation in society
- Awareness-raising and mobilization of young people around global challenges (such as sustainable development, climate change, migrations, the Millennium Development Goals).

Training course for newcomers in Youth in Action
BiTriMulti is a training course which supports newcomers to develop Youth Exchanges within the context of Youth in Action. The training is based on simulation games, input and group work to support youth workers and leaders to achieve the quality standards. The next BMT training course will take place in Romania on 17-21 February. (application deadline: 7 December 2009). There are also courses planned to take place in Hungary (10-14 March), Spain (21-25 April) and the UK (12-16 May).
